Biography:
Dr. Barnes practiced family medicine at the student health clinic at the University of Waterloo before coming to Dalhousie for a residency in radiology and nuclear medicine. He completed a nuclear medicine residency at the University of Western Ontario prior to joining the faculty at Dalhousie in 1989. He's been the nuclear medicine program director, the department research director and previous Department Head from 2009 to 2019.
