About
Dr. Alex Botsford is an Interventional Radiologist at the QEII Health Sciences Centre and an Assistant Professor at Dalhousie University.
Originally from St. John’s NL, he obtained his MD at Memorial University and completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Dalhousie University in 2020. Dr. Botsford carried on to complete a Vascular/Interventional Radiology fellowship at CHUM in Montréal.
Within the broader scope of interventional practice, Dr. Botsford has a special interest in peripheral vascular disease, hepatobiliary intervention and imaging/treatment of vascular anomalies. He is part of a large ongoing research project on embolization of pulmonary AV malformations.
