Biography:
Dr. Lightfoot is the Section Head for Interventional Radiology and an Assistant Professor at Dalhousie University. Dr. Lightfoot is a practicing physician at the QEII Health Sciences Centre. He is also the Sectio Head for Interventional Radiology. His specialty is interventional radiology with special interests in the following interventional clinical sub-specialties:
- Vasular anomalies
- Peripheral vascular disease
- Hepatobiliary disease
- Cardiac imaging
Dr. Lightfoot has written many papers and delivered talks on his sub-specialties. Both his academic teaching and his clinical work takes place at the VG Hospital, Halifax Infirmary and IWK Health Centre.
