Biography
Dr. Daria Manos is a professor in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology at Dalhousie University where she serves as the Head of Thoracic Radiology and the Associate Head for Education. After a radiology residency at Dalhousie University, she completed a fellowship in thoracic radiology in Vancouver.
Dr. Manos is the medical lead for Nova Scotia’s Lung Screening Program and Past President of the Canadian Society of Thoracic Radiology. She teaches medical students, residents, post graduate trainees and, as an inviter lecturer, practicing radiologists around the world including as a volunteer with Radiology Across Borders. Her research interests include improved detection of early lung cancer and evidence-based cost-effective management of lung nodules.
