About
Dr. Fitzpatrick is the Fellowship Director for the Department of Radiology and heads the committee approving new fellows into the program. She completed her MSK fellowship at the University of Toronto and her Diagnostic Radiology Residency at Dalhousie University. She completed her BSc in Biology and Chemistry at Saint Mary’s University followed by medical school at the University of Ottawa. During her medical training, Laura enjoyed singing for patients as the Founder of the University of Ottawa Medical Choir. She has research experience in Public Health and Neuroradiology, including a project investigating the use of MRI to characterize vulnerable carotid artery plaques.
Her sub-specialty is musculoskeletal radiology, and she practices at the QEII Health Sciences Centre.
