Mareen Kraus, MD, is an assistant professor of Diagnostic Radiology at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She earned her medical degree from the University of Hannover/Ulm, Germany, followed by residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Tübingen, Germany where she worked as a staff general and musculoskeletal radiologist at the high volume tertiary referral and center of excellence at the University of Tübingen, Germany. She completed a pediatric radiology fellowship at Sickkids, Toronto.
Her academic and clinical interests focus on pediatric and musculoskeletal radiology. She has authored a number of original research publications in areas including orthopedic imaging, radiation dose reduction, and lung imaging in cystic fibrosis.
