About
Dr. Hodgson is from Halifax, Nova Scotia. He earned his Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering at Queen’s University and achieved his professional engineer’s designation while working at an interventional radiology startup.
With a passion for medical innovation, he studied medicine at Dalhousie University. During his medical degree he founded Hollo Medical Inc. and was recognized as the top student entrepreneur in the world at the 2023 Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA) 51:14 minutes into the video.
He is excited to continue this journey in Halifax, alongside his wife Sara and two dogs Bosco and Rocky.
