Profile:
Dr. Francine Heelan is a resident in Diagnostic Radiology at Dalhousie University. Originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia, she completed a BSc in Biology at Acadia University.
Prior to entering medical school Dr. Heelan worked alongside interventional radiologist Dr. Robert Abraham at ABK Biomedical Inc. developing novel radiopaque embolic particles. She subsequently completed her MD at the University of Ottawa.
Outside of medicine, her interests include hiking with her shelties, running, cooking, and spending time with her friends and family.
