Journal Club
Journal Club is an important component of the residency training program in the Department of Urology. Each month, staff and residents meet to discuss two journal articles that are of clinical or experimental significance. Topics of discussion are based on a urologic subspecialty that changes on a rotating basis. Chosen articles adhere to one of four study types (e.g., diagnostic tests, observational studies, RCTs, or systematic reviews) and are critiqued following the respective JAMA guidelines. The JAMA guidelines for each study type can be found at the bottom of the page.
Journal Clubs are held in-person in the urology boardroom on the first Monday of every month. Any changes to the time, date or location will be communicated directly and updated on the website.
