The Faculty of Medicine is committed to strengthening our ties with Indigenous communities across Wabanaki and beyond. This work is guided by our social accountability mandate and the principles of truth and reconciliation. We are working to centre Mi’kmaq and Wolastoqiyik voices in these efforts. The Indigenous Health Advisory Committee will become a main platform for community oversight and governance as we navigate this journey.
