Community Engagement Day Abstract Submission Form
A Celebration of Community Engagement in Dalhousie’s Faculty of Medicine
We are pleased to invite submissions for poster presentations for our Community Engagement Day, which highlights innovative work in community engagement across education, research, service, and student-led initiatives. This is a valuable opportunity to showcase projects, share best practices, and foster meaningful dialogue across disciplines and sectors.
We welcome abstract submissions in work that advances health and social accountability through collaborative and community-based approaches. Posters will be presented to an audience that includes faculty, staff, and community partners, offering a valuable opportunity to share work, gain feedback, and engage in dialogue with others committed to community engagement and health equity.
We define community engagement broadly and encourage submissions on topics related to:
- Community Engaged Service Learning
- Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Accessibility
- Global Health
- Social Accountability
- Partnerships to Advance Health Equity
- Social Determinants of Health
- Health Systems Capacity Building through Partnership
- Planetary Health and Sustainability
