Dr. Michele Knox - Career Advisor
Michele Knox, MD, Dal B.Sc. ’87, Dal Med ’91, Dal Ophthalmology ‘95
Michele Knox, MD is excited to join the Student Affairs team as Career Advisor. She provides career planning support, professional development and coaching to medical students at the Halifax Campus, in addition to CaRMS preparation and support.Michele retired in 2024 from Ophthalmology with The Permanente Medical Group in the San Francisco Bay Area. She served in a variety of leadership roles including Chief of Ophthalmology and Assistant Physician In Chief. She holds Coach certifications from the Physician Coaching Institute, The Life Coach School & International Coaching Federation. With over 35 years in medicine, Michele is dedicated to helping learners prepare for the challenges a career in medicine without sacrificing wellbeing.
