Tural Alakbarli, MD, MSc

Biography

Dr. Tural Alakbarli is a Women’s & Obstetric Anesthesiologist at IWK Health Centre and an Adult Anesthesiologist, Regional Anesthesia & Acute Pain Specialist at QEII Health Sciences Centre in Halifax, NS. He is also an Assistant Professor at Dalhousie University. Dr. Alakbarli completed dual Clinical Fellowships in Regional Anesthesia, Pain, and Obstetric Anesthesia at Mount Sinai Hospital, University of Toronto. His research interests include women’s and obstetric anesthesia, regional anesthesia, pain management, medical education and simulation, airway management, and the integration of artificial intelligence in perioperative medicine.
