Get the Department of Bioethics involved

Faculty members from the Department of Bioethics are available to help you incorporate ethics into your medical education programs. Here are some examples:

• authoring an educational case and looking for approaches and resources to integrate ethical reflection and decision-making
• looking for an ethics speaker to invite for rounds, journal club or other educational sessions
• teaching in the allied health professions and looking for interprofessional collaboration around education in ethics and professionalism
• a program director looking for assistance in developing an ethics or CanMEDS curriculum for your residency program
• a clinical teacher looking to develop your understanding of ethics in practice and your skills in teaching ethics in the clinical setting
• a basic scientist in the medical school wondering how to integrate social responsibility and the research integrity into your courses and/or the daily working life of your lab
