Ethics in Continuing Professional Development
Career-long learning opportunities
Bioethics department faculty members participate in rounds, CME conferences and events and interprofessional educational events in the clinical setting. Members of the department organize the annual Nova Scotia Health Ethics Network conference.
If you are interested in having one of our faculty members facilitate a learning opportunity, please contact the faculty member whose expertise you require directly. Alternatively, you can take a look at our ethics collaborations, which support extensive ethics education in the practice setting at:
- Central Zone, Nova Scotia Health Authority (contact Christy Simpson at christy.simpson@dal.ca)
- IWK Health (contact Christy Simpson at christy.simpson@dal.ca)
- Western, Northern, and Eastern Zones of the Nova Scotia Health Authority through the Nova Scotia Health Ethics Network (contact Marika Warren at marika.warren@dal.ca)
Contact the Bioethics department to be put on our mailing list for public education events or our academic Works-in-Progress series.
