This rotation offers students an opportunity to experience the practice of medicine in a rural community.

Physicians must be within Halifax Regional Municipality or Saint John, as students have to travel between clinics and the medical school. Med I students have scheduled time either Monday or Wednesday afternoons, and Med II students have scheduled time on either Monday or Wednesday mornings.

Teaching Seminars occur on most weeks from 8:15–10:30
Students spend five half days per six-week block in the community with allied health professionals.
