The annual Dr. David Gass Memorial Walk was held on Nov. 3rd at Point Pleasant Park. Dr. Gass loved to walk, and this event gives colleagues, family, and friends the opportunity to remember a kind, wise, and thoughtful man. Dr. Gass stood for the values of family medicine and what it means to be a compassionate family physician.
His motto was, “When we tell a person something, we remove their chance to discover it themselves.”
Dr. Gass passed away in 2021 from a pedestrian-motor vehicle accident. His legacy lives on through the work and lives of those who knew him and his lasting contributions to the discipline of family medicine.
