How to Apply

Making it happen

Application information for resident positions at Dalhousie University can be found on the Canadian Resident Matching Service (CaRMS) website.

Our program selects candidates based on:

  • academic excellence
  • clinical skills
  • interpersonal skills
  • other attributes such as research experience and extracurricular activities

We place emphasis on teamwork and social skills. We seek and reward applicants who have completed a broad range of electives including our specialty.

For details concerning current stipends and benefits such as sick leave, refer to the Maritime Resident Doctors website.

Residency training begins on July 1 each year.
