October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This month, cancer survivors and medical professionals advocate for awareness and research into this disease, with the goal of eliminating it.
Guru Gadi Divas is celebrated in Sikhism on 20 October. This event commemorates the completion and installation of the Adi Granth, the central religious text in Sikhism, as a “perpetual Guru” to guide all Sikhs for all time.
