June 2025
June is Pride Month, an international celebration honouring LGBTQIA2S+ communities, their histories, and shared struggles across the world. It has its roots in the Stonewall Uprising in June 1969, when customers of a New York gay bar called The Stonewall pushed back against police violence towards their community. It has grown into a worldwide movement demanding recognition of the inherent dignity of all LGBTQIA2S+ lives.
