International Children’s Continence Society Course

 

The IWK Division of Pediatric Urology, IWK Health, and the Dalhousie University Department of Urology are delighted to announce that we will be hosting the International Children's Continence Society (ICCS) Course in Halifax on June 16th and 17th, 2023. 

The course will be focused on the management of neurogenic and non-neurogenic bowel and bladder dysfunction in children. We will have an international panel of experts from Canada, the United States, Japan, Sweden, and the Netherlands. We hope to engage participants from North America and international locations. Our program will entice urologists, nephrologists, pediatricians, rehabilitation specialists, nurses, psychologists and other health care professionals who participate in the multidisciplinary care of these children. The event will be hosted at the Halifax Convention Center, a modern conference site located in the heart of downtown Halifax, Halifax is the largest city in Atlantic Canada and is an outstanding tourist destination with great outdoor attractions museums bars and restaurants. A block of rooms is reserved at The Four Points by Sheraton, within a few minutes walk of the Convention Centre. Hotel reservations are often fully booked in Halifax during June, so we recommend that you please make sure you book your reservation by Friday, March 10th, 2023 to secure your room and the negotiated rate for the group booking.

Accomodation Information

A limited number of hotel rooms for ICCS Course attendees have been reserved at the Four Points Sheraton Hotel (https://www.marriott.com/en-us/hotels/yhzfp-four-points-by-sheraton-halifax/overview/) . The hotel is located at 1496 Hollis Street, less than 500 metres from the Halifax Convention Centre.

The final date to reserve a hotel room in the hotel block is Wednesday, March 15th at 11:59 pm Atlantic Standard Time.
