Application Scoring

How is my application scored?

Members of the Admissions Committee review and assess personal statements and the supplemental form components of each applicant's file. In the file review, members of the Admissions Committee also assign up to 5 points at their discretion, for outstanding features of applicant's qualities and preparedness for medical education at Dalhousie.  These are combined with the academic (GPA and MCAT) and interview score to arrive at a total application score.

MCAT 10 points
Supplemental and Essay 30 points
