Specific Information

The College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) have different accreditation/certification categories.

(any category can be certified at any level)
Level 1
Level 2
Level 3
Group Learning
RCPSC Section 1: Group Learning
Section 3: Simulation
Section 3: Self-Assessment

NOTE: The CFPC and RCPSC are making changes to their standards/program structure. These changes are anticipated to occur in late 2024. We will do our best to keep our website and documents up to date. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Most programs fall under the Level 1/Section 1 Group Learning category, and our standard accreditation/certification package (below) has been developed accordingly. Please contact us if you require further information about the different categories and/or if you intend to apply for Level 2/3 or Section 3 credits.
