Accreditation Packages

What You Need to Accredit for Your Particular Audience

General Information

Before beginning to plan for an accredited event, please contact CPDME at CPDME.Accreditation@dal.ca.  We are happy to help clarify what is required or to answer any questions you may have.

NOTE:

  • For our office to certify/accredit a program, the Dalhousie Faculty of Medicine must be significantly involved in the planning of the program. Therefore, at least one physician, faculty member of the Dalhousie Faculty of Medicine must be included in the planning committee.
  • If you require a Simulation or Self Assessment (Section 3) package, please contact us for more information. 
  • If you wish to do a Level 2 or Level 3 accreditation, please contact us for more information

Specific Information

There are three different accreditation packages, depending on the target audience for the program/event. Please select your accreditation package accordingly.

  • CFPC family physicians only - FP
  • Royal College specialists only - SP
  • Combination of both CFPC family physicians and Royal College specialists - BOTH
