Our division provides care to Maritime patients with malignant diseases, educates medical students, residents and the public, and conducts clinical research.

In the Division of Medical Oncology, you’ll find a two-year subspecialty residency training program in medical oncology accredited by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada as well as continuing medical education options.

Our commitment to clinical research and evidence-based care includes involvement in many clinical trials that enable patients to benefit from the most current advances in treatment. We work closely with Cancer Care Nova Scotia to provide the public with current and factual information about cancer, its causes and treatments, and conduct clinical trials in partnership with:
