Oksana Dyachok - Research Coordinator

Oksana Dyachok was born in Crimea and received her undergraduate education at the T. Shevchenko National State University in Kiev, Ukraine. After graduating with a degree in Medical Biophysics, she undertook a Ph.D. program in the Department of Physiology and Biophysics at Dalhousie University, Halifax, Canada.
After completion of the requirements for a degree centred on research into the function and regulation of potassium –selective cell- membrane ionic channels, Dr. Dyachok undertook a period of further research into membrane ionic channels as a postdoctoral research fellow. Thereafter, she joined the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, and currently conducts investigator led and pharmaceutical clinical trials within the Glaucoma Research Group.
