Richard B. Goldbloom Medal in Pediatrics
Funded by a donation to the Dalhousie Medical Research Foundation by Mr. Charles R. Bronfman, the Richard B. Goldbloom Medal in Pediatrics will be awarded during the Spring Convocation of the Faculty of Medicine each year.
The Medal is to be awarded annually to the graduating medical student “who shows the most outstanding combination and balance of scientific medical knowledge, clinical skill and sensitivity to the social and emotional needs of children and their families”.
The Medal will be awarded each year during Spring Convocation on a recommendation from the Undergraduate Medical Education Committee of the Department of Pediatrics.
If you would like the student to be considered for this award, please contact the Pediatric Undergraduate Medical Education Coordinator, Bernice MacLellan.
