Biography:
Margaret Garnier-Liot is our Education Leader and manager of the Residency, Fellowship, and Undergraduate programs.
As our Education Leader, Margaret is responsible for the overall leadership of the medical education office. She works closely with the Education Assistant on our Residency Programs and Undergraduate program, and the Fellowship Coordinator on the Fellowship Programs. Her office is in Room 313 in the North Wing, VG.
Margaret has experience in a number of administrative Undergraduate and Postgraduate education activities, with special interests in assessment design and competency-based medical education. She completed a Master of Education program, majoring in Studies in Lifelong Learning in June 2014 and is currently a doctoral candidate in the PhD in Educational Studies program at StFX. With a focus in adult education, her doctoral research will provide insight into the learner experience in competence by design programs.
