Dr. Jessie-Lee McIsaac will present her program of research focused on effective implementation of population health strategies to promote child and youth health. Through an embedded research partnership, she is working alongside government partners to study the implementation of school policy interventions that are designed to increase cancer prevention-related behaviours of healthy eating and physical activity. Dr. McIsaac will share insights from her research that is studying health promotion policy interventions in the school system in an effort to produce relevant knowledge for policy makers and local practitioners.
