Closing the gap: Expanding access to mental health care in Nova Scotia


75th Anniversary Commemorative Public Engagement

The Department of Psychiatry at Dalhousie University in collaboration with the Nova Scotia Health Central Zone and IWK Mental Health and Addictions Programs have expanded access to mental health care for residents of Nova Scotia.

Join us for a public talk and hear about the newest mental health services closing treatment gaps for equity-deserving populations:

  • Transcultural Mental Health Program
  • Concurrent Addiction and Mental Disorders Program
  • Rapid Access and Stabilization Program
  • Neuropsychiatry Program

WHEN: Saturday, Nov. 30, 2024 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.

                 Halifax, NS

FREE and open to the public. No registration required.

Parking
The library offers electronic metered paid underground parking for up to 70 spots $1/hour on weekends to a daily maximum of $5.
