Surgical Library
The Department of Urology at Dalhousie is committed to enhancing the education and surgical skills of its trainees. At Dal, we have the operative tools to allow recording of almost any surgical procedure. With video capture enabled on the laparoscopic and robotic towers, as well as the purchase of a Surgical Recording Headset with GoPro in 2018, the department has a detailed and growing library of recorded procedures for resident reference, education, and preparation before cases.
Residents access this library through SharePoint, and can obtain access to Adobe Suites to help edit videos and add to this resource if interested.
