This half-day workshop will look at the issues and questions surrounding mental health professionals working within the legal system in Nova Scotia. The various roles that they may play in the courts will be discussed along with how they should prepare for these roles. Also, what lawyers and judges expect and how that balances with the guidelines of registered professionals. This workshop is open to psychologists as well as other health care professionals who deal with the courts.
