Come listen to Scotiabank Giller Prize-winning author, Esi Edugyan launch the Pier 21 Reads program as she presents Immigration and the Canadian Identity.
The Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21 has partnered with CBC and Halifax Public Libraries to welcome Esi Edugyan for readings and book signings in Kenneth C. Rowe Hall on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at 10 a.m. and Friday, September 25 at 7 p.m. As a second generation Canadian, Esi Edugyan will speak on immigration and Canadian identity in her life and work and will read excerpts from Half-Blood Blues, The Second Life of Samuel Tyne and Dreaming of Elsewhere: Observations on Home; now available for purchase at the Pier 21 Gift Shop.
