Donation Locations: Nursing Lounge or School of Nursing main office
Dalhousie University Nursing Society (DUNS) global health committee has started their First Start Campaign. This is a toiletry drive to benefit the Halifax Refugee Clinic emergency settlement fund.
Accepted donations include NEW & unscented:
- Sanitary napkins
- Adult toothbrushes & toothpaste
- Shampoo & conditioner
- Body lotion and body soap
We will also accept:
- Laundry detergent, dish soap, all purpose cleaner
- New towels, dish towels/cloths
- New/gently used warm blankets
- Bus tickets & grocery store gift cards
Donations can be dropped off in one of the marked collection bins in the Nursing Lounge or the SON Main Office. The deadline to drop off items is March 7th.
