Location: Pier 21, Windsor Foundation Room
The Canadian Red Cross Global Health Unit, in partnership with Dalhousie Global Health Office, will host a workshop on public health in complex emergencies.
The workshop is open to all interested participants from a variety of backgrounds and specialties. Participants will be split into groups and will work through a case study on one of many topics relating to public health in complex emergencies. Topics could include, but are not limited to, non-communicable diseases, such as malnutrition, maternal, newborn and child health, and epidemics, such as cholera.
After groups work through their case, a discussion will occur, moderated by the workshop leaders.
