Research Day 2026 was the most highly-attended Research Day yet.
Every year in spring, the Department of Pathology holds Research Day. The objectives of the event are to:
- Review the application of multi-omics data to human disease;
- Examine a diverse range of research topics in the field of Pathology and at different levels of scholarship/training (ie undergraduate, medical student, graduate student, medical resident, and post-doctoral fellow);
- Review the application of a diverse set of molecular tools to study fundamental biological processes related to human disease;
- Identify important considerations for the identification and development of biomarkers; and
- Recognize important interactions between the tumour microenvironment, immune system, and therapy in cancer.
The convivial atmosphere lasted throughout the day.
The attendees were attentive to the latest research from Dalhousie.
