Please join me in congratulating Dr. Doha Itani for her appointment as Department Head of Laboratory Medicine at Horizon Health in Saint John, New Brunswick as of May 1st, 2026.

Dr. Itani is Associate Professor at Dalhousie University. She is an Anatomical Pathologist with subspecialty expertise in Hematopathology and Molecular Pathology. She is the Division Head, Molecular Diagnostics and Cytogenetics at Saint John Regional Hospital.

We would like to extend our thanks to Dr. Ather Naseemuddin who completed his term as the Department Head of Laboratory Medicine at Horizon Health in Saint John, New Brunswick. It is always a pleasure to work with Dr. Naseemuddin and we sincerely thank him for his amazing efforts and leadership.
