Research interests

Dr. Candice E. Crocker studies the roles of recreational drugs and gender interactions in psychosis and first seizure using magnetic resonance imaging and clinical outcomes.  Additional projects examine barriers to service utilization, such as stigma, and service engagement as well as the use of social media for outreach in various patient populations.  Through her cross-appointment to diagnostic radiology, Dr. Crocker also does research into the impact of cannabis use on lung tissue by computed tomography and assists various radiology faculty with research project design and ethics.
