Research interests

Dr. Candice E. Crocker studies the roles of recreational drugs and gender interactions in psychosis and first seizure using magnetic resonance imaging and clinical outcomes. Additional projects examine barriers to service utilization, such as stigma, and service engagement as well as the use of social media for outreach in various patient populations. Through her cross-appointment to diagnostic radiology, Dr. Crocker also does research into new methods of imaging white matter to look more closely at the impact of alcohol and cannabis use.
