At the Dal Surgery Research Office, our mission is to support, mentor and help both young and established researchers build a productive research dossier.
The Research Office is committed to creating collaborative, team based, research approaches that result in innovative research programs and collective learning.

We are here to help.
Our Departmental Research Committee includes members from each surgical division, as well as further liaison roles, to ensure that we are able to address all existing research programs and opportunities in the Dalhousie Medical Community and other organizations.
We are here to build a research project/program. Through in-house funding opportunities, and shared data professionals, working within both the Faculty of Medicine and NSHA Research - we can help you find ways to support your research, build your research queries through mentorship (grant writing, collaboration possibilities, ethic proposals, financial managment and HR considerations)
