Where academic study and community service unite in the spirit of social accountability
Dalhousie Medicine offers an optional Service Learning Program to second year medical students in both Halifax and Saint John. The Service Learning Program includes preparation, orientation and community-based experiences resulting in the completion of a project based on community-identified needs. The year-end celebrations are open to anyone and are a chance to showcase these community-engaged experiences and hear from the participants firsthand about their projects. Please join us!
