The Department of Anesthesiology, Pain Management & Perioperative Medicine at Dalhousie University is committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based continuing professional development (CPD) that advances clinical practice, supports lifelong learning, and improves patient care.
Our CPD program provides educational opportunities for anesthesiologists, anesthesia assistants, residents, fellows, medical students, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals across Nova Scotia and Atlantic Canada. Educational activities are accredited through Dalhousie Continuing Professional Development and, where applicable, are recognized for continuing professional development credits by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Program, the College of Family Physicians of Canada, and the Canadian Anesthesiologists’ Society.
