The Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (DFATD) has just announced a call for proposals aimed at reducing the mortality of the world's most vulnerable mothers and children.
The PARTNERSHIPS FOR STRENGTHENING MATERNAL, NEWBORN AND CHILD HEALTH (PSMNCH) call for proposals is for a total value of up to $370 MILLION
over five years (2015-2020) and has two streams:
STREAM 1 will fund initiatives between $1 million and $19 million, and
has a total budget of up to $100 million.
STREAM 2 will fund initiatives over $20 million, and has a total budget
of up to $270 million.
Proposals must be aligned with one or more of the four paths below:
1) STRENGTHENING HEALTH SYSTEMS
2) REDUCING THE BURDEN OF DISEASES
3) Improving nutrition
4) Ensuring accountability for results
The deadline for proposal submissions is JANUARY 15, 2015, at 3:00 p.m.
(Eastern Time).
