What does food security have to do with mental health, peer relationships, quality of life, and other health related outcomes of kids? Join Dr. Sara Kirk and the CYCC Institute on Thursday, November 20th to celebrate National Child Day with a talk and discussion on the impacts of food security on young people in our community. Sara will be presenting on findings from her recent study which looked at the food security status among grade 5 students in Nova Scotia, and its association with their health outcomes.
