The Global Health Office invites you to the launch of the global health research project called Accessing Safe Deliveries in Tanzania (ASDIT).
Dalhousie University researchers will collaborate with partners from the Tanzanian Training Centre for International Health (TTCIH) and the Morogoro Regional Hospital, Tanzania, to lead efforts to improve access to, and the performance of, emergency maternal care across the country. One of our partners from TTCIH, Zabron Abel, will be in Halifax and attending the launch.
Dalhousie’s team is led by John LeBlanc and comprised of Doug McMillan, Heather Scott, Ron George, Marsha Campbell Yeo, Gail Tomblin Murphy, and Shawna O’Hearn. Pat Rodee, Jennifer Morawiecki, and Chris Wirz with International Research and Development as well as Suzanne Sheffield at the Centre for Teaching and Learning are supporting the team throughout its five-year term
