Date: Monday Feb 29, 2016 @ 5:30 - 6:30 PM
Location: Just US Cafe, Spring Garden Rd. Halifax
Are you tired of repeatedly hearing buzz words like "cultural competency" and "cultural saftey" but really have no idea what they are supposed to mean? This month's hangout is for you! We will be hanging out with anthropologist (aka culture expert) Dr. Ryan Higgins and chatting about what culture means to us and how this may or may not influence our practice.
We want this to be a safe space for everyone to have a chance to share their ideas and perspectives, so grab a coffee and join the conversation.
Hosted by the Dalhousie Medicine Global Health Initiative (Dal Med GHI).
