Join Canada's Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) leaders and decision makers for an exciting two part event hosted by Upstream.
Growing public awareness of the roots of good health has opened the door to many conversations about how to equitably improve social conditions that help determine good health. Upstream invites you to join us in exploring the best ways to move this conversation into action.
Afternoon: researchers and practitioners will share their ideas for action on health equity. The afternoon will will be ripe with ideas and challenges. It promises to spur discussion and action. Evening: Sir Michael Marmot, globally renowned expert in health equity and author of the new book The Health Gap: The Challenge of an Unequal World, will share the stage with Louise Potvin, health equity expert from the Université de Montréal, and Dr. Ryan Meili, founder of Upstream, for an evening that is sure to inspire.
