Keynote Speaker: Dr. Shiphra Ginsburg, MD, MEd, FRCPC
The first program of its kind in Canada, Research in Medicine is a mandatory program that introduces Dalhousie medical students to research from the start of their medical training. From first year on, it fosters their research and critical thinking abilities as they complete independent research projects.
Shiphra Ginsburg
Shiphra Ginsburg received her MDCM degree from McGill University before completing postgraduate training and the University of Toronto and McMaster University. She completed a Masters degree in Higher Education (specializing in the Health Professions) at OISE/UT in 1999. Dr. Ginsburg is an Associate Professor (Medicine) at the University of Toronto and is on staff at Mount Sinai Hospital. She is cross appointed as a Scientist at the Wilson Centre for Research in Education.
