- Present a working definition of global health and discuss how global health can be integrated into an academic department’s mandate of education, research advocacy and clinical practice.
- Explore benefits to staff, learners, communities and partners.
- Discuss how academic departments could and should engage to support culturally appropriate and sustainable improvements in global health care
- Discuss the ethical considerations of academic partnerships in global health.
