The Dr. Kathryn J. Hannah Lecture Series in presented in support of a new national nursing informatics scholarship inspired by Dr. Hannah and established in partnership between the Canadian Nursing Informatics community and the Canadian Nurses Foundation.
Dr. Hannah, C.M., PhD, RN is Canada’s first Nurse Informatician and has made foundational changes to the practice of nursing and health care nationally and internationally through education, scholarship, transforming initiatives like C—HOBIC, and standards development leadership. In 2015, Dr. Hannah received the Canadian Health Informatics Award (CHIA) for leadership from COACH, (Canada’s Health Informatics Association) and ITAC (Information Technology Association of Canada). Also in 2015, Dr. Hannah was appointed as a Member of the Order of Canada for her lifetime achievements in Nursing and health informatics.
The lecture will also be available through a webinar broadcast (details to follow).
