Donation deadline: Jan 12, 2017 @ 4pm
Location: Forrest Building lobby (5869 University Avenue, Halifax)
The Rho Rho Chapter STTI and Dalhousie University Nursing Society (DUNS) Global Health Committee have officially launched their Christmas Care Campaign! We are seeking donations of toys, baby clothing, diapers or gift cards. These items will be donated to newcomer families in need.The diapers and baby clothing will be donated to the Volunteer Doula Program, and the toys to the Refugee Health Clinic.
The donations this year will include: various sizes of children’s clothing for kids, toys, diapers, and gift cards.
We invite you to:
- Choose an ornament off the tree in the atrium
of the Forrest Building, 5869 University Ave. - Obtain the item on the ornament.
- Drop off the item (with the tag) to the collection
box by the tree. *cash donations/gift cards to
the Nursing office - Celebrate the warmth of giving.
This initiative will be taken into the New Year- the deadline for drop off is January 12th @ 4pm.
Dalhousie’s School of Nursing is home to the Rho Rho Chapter of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing (STTI), a global organization dedicated to community leadership, scholarship, service and the use of nursing knowledge to improve health care around the world.
