Date: Sat. April 8, 2017
Location: Tupper Link
This annual event brings together faculty, medical students, alumni, allied health professionals and administrators across our medical school, to share information on a broad spectrum of student research, and to celebrate research excellence. RIM Research Day is intended to foster vibrant research in our university. A strong research program not only attracts and retains more health professionals to our region, but also, through scientific discoveries, translates into improved care and health for the communities we serve. At Dalhousie we want to train and support the next generation of doctors who are committed to advancing research knowledge, so that they may sustain and strengthen this research environment.
It is important for students presenting at RIM Research Day to be supported by their peers, but also by their mentors. Presenting research is an important milestone for students, which should be recognized by those mentoring them through their research experience.
