Wanting to escape from Nova Scotia in this dreadful winter? What if I told you that you could travel around the world in one afternoon? From Ghana to Haiti, The Gambia to Jamaica, this is the place for you. Come drop in for a minute or an hour as we share bits and pieces of the rich cultures we have experienced. Art, photography, fashion and more.
After six month in various international development assignments around the world, the IYIP interns are back in Halifax and eager to share their experiences with you. Come chat with us!
Since 2002, the Atlantic Council for International Cooperation (ACIC) has offered over 100 internships in 16 countries through the International Youth Internships Program funded by Global Affairs Canada. These internships provide youth (age 19-30) with international development experience, skills, and knowledge to help better prepare them for future employment, while advancing Canadian development objectives.
